Jelena is a pianist, teacher, musicologist and writer, with BA, MA and Ph.D degree in Music (Department for Musicology, University of Arts in Belgrade) and a diploma of Mokranjac Music School (Piano Performing and Teaching). As a classical trained pianist she performed at numerous concerts and was awarded at several international piano competitions in France, Italy, Serbia. For 20 years she has delivered piano and music theory lessons to young children, teenagers and adults in Europe, USA and Canada. She also worked as a university professor, music editor and reviewer at radio and television stations, researcher and writer and editor of books and journals. Her main goals are to create an exciting, educational and entertaining learning environment, to motivate, inspire and encourage children to play and sing, and to see all her students smiling during and after her classes.
